AODA & ACCESSIBILITY
Gravity Engineering has developed a team of professionals with strong knowledge in advising and preparing Accessibility assessments and recommendation for building retrofits or improvements for a wide variety of facilities. We are experienced in providing services for municipalities, facility managers and building owners to which our team has carried out accessibility audits and upgrades. Our team understands the importance of delivering accessibility requirements for regulations and programs such as Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and RHFAC. Furthermore, Gravity understands the importance of achieving time and cost efficient projects with logical approaches to solutions.

BUILDING CONDITION ASSESSMENT
At Gravity Engineering, our skilled engineers specialize in comprehensive building condition assessments. We combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to deliver tailored reports across various building types—industrial, retail, and residential. Our assessments range from streamlined evaluations to detailed studies covering structures, parking garages, cladding, roofing, mechanical systems, interiors, elevators, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and swimming pools. We also coordinate Environmental Site Assessments, offering a seamless evaluation process and single point of contact for our clients.
3D LASER SCANNING & BIM DEVELOPMENT
From developing basic space plans to mapping intricate mechanical systems and capturing comprehensive building data, we use 3D laser scanning to accurately capture the size, shape, and location of almost any building feature and can convert these scans into detailed 2D or 3D CAD drawings. In collaboration with our clients, we ensure the 3D scanning, data collection, and final output meet specific needs and project objectives.


LOAD TESTING ON GUARDS & RAILINGS
Gravity provides in-situ load testing on guard railings based on performance requirements and design criteria outlined in provided shop drawings, specifications, or from the Ontario Building Code. We can test to enable verification that the new or existing railing systems satisfy minimum loading and deflection requirements for both inward and outward forces applied to the railing system. As required, we can test the entire railing assembly or individual components.
